@Shereen Sands totally. You need to give yourself a reset. Your brain stayed in problem-solving / vigilance mode. Bedtime became associated with thinking and planning so your nervous system learned the evening is a time to stay alert. NOW the renovations are ending, but the habit cycle remains. The goal is to break the association, not force sleep. I would suggest write your thoughts down an hour before bed (then tell yourself you’ll deal with what you wrote down the next day), try not to work or scroll or do any work right before bed so your brain can try to relax and shut off, then make sure you have a set wake up time every morning for the next week to two weeks regardless of how long or short you sleep in the evening :)
