Day 5 – End the Year Strong Networking Challenge ✨
Today’s task is super simple but incredibly powerful: 👉 Reconnect with an old work contact you haven’t spoken to in a while. We all have those people we genuinely liked, collaborated well with, or learned from… and then life got busy. Today is the day to reopen that door. Just send a light, no-pressure message like: “Hey, it’s been a while! I was thinking of you today and wanted to check in. How are things going on your end?” You never know what opportunities, ideas, or reconnections could flow from a quick hello. Let me know how you go! 💛✨

Oh this is great!!
If you could get one introduction this month that would completely change the trajectory of your business… who would it be and why?
I’m asking because I’ve noticed how often a single connection can unlock opportunities we didn’t even know existed. And somewhere in this community… that person might be only one degree away. Drop the name, the industry, or even just the “type” of person. Let’s see if we can connect some dots for each other.

@Helen Pryse Lloyd I couldn’t agree more. It takes a huge amount of humility to admit what we aren’t great at
How to Be a Better Networker When You’re an Introvert
If networking drains your energy or feels a little intimidating, you’re not alone—and you’re not at a disadvantage. In fact, introverts often make the most genuine, meaningful connections because they listen deeply, notice details others miss, and build trust naturally. Here are some simple ways to make networking feel lighter, calmer, and more aligned with who you are: ✨ 1. Set an intention before you walk in or connect online. Decide what you want to get out of the event, one meaningful conversation, meeting someone new, or simply showing up. ✨ 2. Start small. Aim for quality over quantity. One great conversation can open more doors than ten quick hellos. ✨ 3. Use curiosity as your superpower.Introverts excel at asking thoughtful questions. Let your natural curiosity guide you—people love to feel seen and heard. ✨ 4. Prepare a few go-to conversation starters. This takes the pressure off. Try something simple like, “What brings you here today?” or “Tell me about your business.” Easy, open, and flowing. ✨ 5. Follow up while the energy is high. A short message the next day can turn a quick chat into a long-term relationship. Remember, your gentle presence is powerful. Your ability to connect deeply is a gift. Show up with intention, trust your energy, and let the universe open the right doors for you. introverts in the group, let us know you're here!

Ooo this is a great post—would love to hear from others, and I think this a great refresh for everyone: set your intentions, protect your energy, and aim for a meaningful connection with one or two people instead of trying to “work the room.” Ask good questions, stay curious, and let people talk… listen. Then, make sure to follow up :) Let’s build real meaningful relationships… otherwise, what’s the point? @Allison Creighton @Bhawani Shankar Sharma @Christian Wittmann @Clara Smith @Ross Young @Shannon Boyer @Tracey Giannuzzi @Tim Wagner @Vasi Smith @Des Dreckett @Danielle Tucker @Elias Rhodes @Marama Elizabeth @Gale Bates @Heather Majors @Ilia Kapustin @Jason Hagelberg @Kyra Jones @Lara Sloan @Luke Maguire @Melissa Vermaak @MaryBeth Ramsey @Nikhil Kardam @Paulo Costa @Alexander Walter @Benjamin Do

Showing Up on Empty: What Keeps You Moving?
Running on zero today… and I know I’m not the only one who has those days. No need for DMs—I’m totally fine. It’s just been a big week, and sometimes we wake up with absolutely no motivation left in the tank. But even on days like this, we still find a way to put one foot in front of the other. We show up in whatever way we can, even if it’s slower, softer, or a little messier than usual. So I wanted to ask you all…What do you do to show up when your energy is low? What small networking or business-growth habits do you keep going on days like this? Share what works for you. Let’s inspire each other to keep moving forward—even on the days when we’re running on empty.

We all get those days where the tank’s just empty… I don’t try to be a superhero. I just hit the non-negotiables: one conversation, one helpful post, one small action that keeps momentum alive. Consistency beats intensity every time. I am curious what everyone else does—because those tiny habits on the hard days is where I personally feel the real growth happens.
