Gut Reset
Any recommendations on the best way to go about "resetting" my gut? I'm been having a lot of issues with bloating, indigestion, stomach discomfort etc which is likely due to bacterial overgrowth and started to occur after I reimplemented dairy and kefir into my diet. I have been unable to pinpoint the root cause of these issues because whenever I have raw milk kefir alone I have no issues yet Ray Peat often advices against probiotics because of the lactic acid etc, and when I have raw milk with coffee and honey I have no issues but if I have it alone then I often get bloated for long periods of time. I am thinking of going through a process of elimination but have also seen that taking antibiotics could be a good idea. Just looking to get some clarity because there is a lot of information online and difference of opinion, thanks. P.S. I have raw carrots (now going to try it with some coconut oil) and lots of raw honey daily as I am aware of the digestive/antibacterial benefits with these.

@Aleks Fidurski Yeah I believe so too. My diet is all organic and consists of lots of fruits, raw milk, raw honey, raw carrots, dark chocolate, potatoes, rice (sometimes), sourdough bread, eggs, beef, steak, butter, coconut oil. I eat 80-120g protein a day on average, upwards of 500g carbs, and around 60-90g fat. I weigh 60kg at 5,5 and very physically active (17-20k steps daily average and lifting most days because my job and I train at home) I'm cutting out starchy foods for the time being while I have issues with my gut, so the rice, potatoes, bananas and bread I'm cutting out entirely because as far as I'm aware these things feed the bacteria in the gut and I always get a ton of bloating after eating these foods. Even milk seems to cause some bloating but not when I have it warm and with honey so I'm going to keep having it as usual.

@Aleks Fidurski ok will do, thank you. What do you recommend I eat for fuel? Like carbs wise, I need a lot of carbs to be able to perform at my work and for training and the majority of that would come from the starches. Yes I do the carrot salad 💪
Purchasing Supplements
When it comes to buying supplements, what are ingredients and things that companies typically include we should be avoiding? Looking to get some Vitamin D3+K2, Zinc and gelatine supplements, just those 3. Any recommendations would be appreciated also!

@Aleks Fidurski vit d3+k2, zinc, gelatine. I’m not sure what additional ingredients I should be avoiding when looking to buy these supplements, or supplements in general

@Aleks Fidurski I like the look of ‘nutrition geeks’ supplements. They have minimal ingredients from what I can observe and a lot of great feedback from customers https://amzn.eu/d/0438t03K
Glycogen stores
When are they full? Is it individual or is there an average calorie/gram intake per height/weight?

@Aleks Fidurski does increasing muscle mass enable you to store more glycogen and thus more energy?
