Found a package deal with 1985 kawasaki 454 LTD and a 1989 yamaha virago for 2k, negotiated down to 1100, one needed a float bowl gasket and the other needed a petcock, 10$ in parts, traded both of them for a 79 camaro with a 350 that needed intake gaskets, and a new distributor, guy had all the parts just didnt trust himself/know how to install them. Got that running then a guy offered a 2013 M109r which ended up selling for cash for 4500$. Used the cash to pay off my restoration expenses.

Ive been doing it occasionally on the side whenever i see a decent deal pop up since i was 17. Had a friend back then that taught me a good amount about cars and motorcycles mainly working on his projects until i got the urge to start doing it for myself. Ive done quite few motorcycles, and a few older cars. ‘74 dart swinger, ‘88 corvette, ‘79 camaro, and ive had a ‘73 mach one since 2021 that i finished in 2023 but unfortunately 2 weeks after it was done someone set the storage unit on fire and my car went up with it. Didnt have insurance on it so i decided i better bring it back again. I’m almost done painting it, just a couple pieces and the hood to do, then reassembly. Ive done everything in the mach one myself, bodywork, paint, upholstery, wiring, replaced parts on the engine etc. Im hoping to eventually start my own classic car dealership/restoration shop.
