Question for the community
I’ve been enjoying all the lessons so far. Rotating from enter the straddle and hips of fury (I try to get two of each a week), and occasionally throw in a session for martial artist or the full body hybrid training. I was wondering, some days I have a session where things feel fluid, joints and muscles are limber and I’m pushing to new lengths. My body feels “read to open and expand” as if it’s easy. Then on other sessions, my body just feels tight, dry, and locked up. Nothing in pain, but the nervous system just won’t let things be limber it seems. I’m trying to deduce if the cause could be - inflammation from previous weight lifting days, not enough water or salt some days, or if it’s entirely normal to have some sessions where you just aren’t pushing to flexibility levels like you do on other days. Curious to hear peoples thoughts.

@Hannah Jardine great point, I could up my magnesium. You’re right that electrolytes, potassium, turmeric do make a noticeable difference. I notice an overall difference when I eat more figs and bananas.

@Yolanda Anderson yes I think that happened a couple times, the tightest days was where I did a morning weight lifting session, then did flex theory in the afternoon. If the sessions are on there own day, or first in the morning my body responds better.
First day down
Well I have to say, I’ve never experienced spending 34 minutes in a straddle position, and that alone by itself was a revelatory experience to say the least! Love it. Also, the heal your shoulders is exactly what I needed to rehab old injuries, and fight to get the ability to lock my arms out above my head again.
