I always get a fade at the bottom of my hair , should I grow the back out even though I have that cowlick and will it look good or not

Hair
I have very straight, flat hair and I’m growing it out into a flow hairstyle. I also have seborrheic dermatitis, which is mostly under control now. What styling products (sea salt spray, cream, paste, etc.) would you recommend that add texture and hold without irritating my scalp or making flakes worse?I can’t have anything that will dry my hair out too much
