We'd love to hear the story of your most impactful psychedelic experience and how it enhanced your sense of community, personal liberation, health and well-being, inner peace, etc.

I come from a background where elite performance is the baseline. Military, fire service, and now as a coach through my work with both human performance roles and integration coaching. For a long time, I thought I was operating at a high level… but in reality, I was just adapted to a constant state of high level anxiety and pressure. My most impactful psychedelic experiences don’t come from cool stories about visuals or intensity; it’s most often about clarity and a deep connection to Mother Earth..sometimes curled up in the fetal position crying out for my mommy, but intense clarity nonetheless. It gave me an objective look at the patterns I had normalized: over-identification with high performance, emotional suppression disguised as strength, and a nervous system that hadn’t downregulated in god knows how long…decades. It wasn’t a breakdown… it was a welcomed recalibration. In hindsight: what mattered most wasn’t the experience itself, it was what came after. The light at the end of the tunnel! That’s where integration changed my life. Becoming an integration coach forced me to live this work and develop my practices and processes daily. Psychedelics stopped being “experiences” and became part of a system where awareness, reflection, and daily application truly made a difference. The real shift happened in the weeks and months after, when I had to decide whether I was actually going to embody what I saw. The other piece I didn’t expect was the incredible community. I’ve spent years in the military and fire service hearing “this is your second family” and I believed that hook, line and sinker. But what I’ve found here has been just as strong, if not stronger. There’s a level of honesty, vulnerability, and shared growth in this space that creates real connection…and fast. I’ve built some of the most meaningful relationships in my life through this work, and that’s not something I say lightly. Personal liberation, for me, wasn’t escape; it’s extreme ownership. Psychedelics didn’t give me answers. They gave me a mirror. You can have all the answers in the world, but having the answers and practical application of the answers are two VERY different things.
Introduction
Hello friends! I am new to the group and figured I'd give a quick intro. I live in Washington state, I am a former Navy Corpsman and spent most of my time on long intimate walks in the sand with the most joyus Marines, I call them family. I am a husband and girl dad and homeschool my daughters and stay at home. For fun I write and perform music and like to go into the wilderness or do anything that gets my heart pumping! Currently, alot of my time goes into volunteering, but I am eager to begin a new chapter in serving with this community of people devoted to bettering themselves. After healing with Iboga and the Bwété tribe in 2023, I had the privilege to complete Vital Psychedelics, Psychedelic Informed Practioner course, specializing in Spiritual Emergency and Somatics and Trauma. I am here to help those on the path with what I learned during that course and what I have been taught by the Bwété. Please don't hesitate to reach out and we can set up a time to talk! Thank you all. Have a great day!

“Long intimate walks in the sand” I literally spit out my water reading this. What a heartfelt take on such an arduous endeavor. Humor is often the best medicine and you served me with a magical dose today, friend. Thanks you! Excited to see where you go from here and congratulations on completing the practitioner course, that will yield years of dividends and give back incredible benefits to the roots of our success.

This is how we change the world one breath at a time. Keep it up, Cam.
Gratitude
Curious: how many of you practice the dinner gratitude ritual we do at retreats, at home? I love this time of quality connection before breaking bread. For anyone unfamiliar: at Meant for More retreats there's a tradition of sharing our gratitudes around the table before having dinner -- and it's so treasured!

Not only has it changed and impacted my own practice, but it has rubbed off and changed the way my 15 y/o son sits down to his meals. Whether I’m present or not, I witness him focus on gratitude every time he sits at the table. It has become a staple in our household and I’ll forever be grateful for the things I learned while at retreats.
I’ve got a Challenge for you!
I want to invite you into a simple experiment. Many of us check social media dozens of times a day without really thinking about it. A quick scroll here and there… and before we know it, a lot of our time has been pulled into the feed. So I created something for this community: The 30 Day Social Media Detox Challenge. Create more space in your life. More space for presence. More space for living fully. More space for the things you actually enjoy doing. This challenge is especially powerful after a medicine experience. You can learn about that in one of my videos “Protecting the Post-Journey Window” Just head to the Classroom Tab to get started 🫶🏻
