Colossians 2:2-3 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and UNITED IN LOVE, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely CHRIST, in whom ar hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. When I read this scripture, I hear Paul saying, "LOVE" is what we are here for, not the agenda of judging people. It's not up to us to decide the fate of others. Only God can do that. So who are we to say, do this or do that or you will face condemnation? Jesus is LOVE - GOD is LOVE - so rather than scaring people to HIM, we should LOVE people to HIM. By our actions and words, we can lead the lost or scare them - I chose LOVE - and I'll let God decide the rest. (Grateful that is not my job) Love is the language we should be teaching - God is NOT an angry deity - He is a GOD of LOVE and GRACE - He loves you today, no matter what - you cannot do anything to make Him love you any less. May you find peace and comfort knowing HE LOVES YOU TODAY AND ALWAYS And so do I..
