Hi everyone I’m Katie, I’m really excited to join the group and will be at the boot camp next week. I don’t know about you, but over the last few years I have contemplated at least a dozen different business ideas, from personal trainer, dog trainer, going self employed as an electrician but all of these ideas had great elements but none of them could build the fire in my belly that property game has. This is the only avenue I’ll be running down. My goal is to deal source, find distressed properties in my area and work to get a BMV deal ready for an investor. Current step is learning to run numbers for a deal. Come say hi at the event if you see me.

Last year when I was starting on this journey into the world of property I soon found out that mindset is one of the most important things to get right - 'skill-set without the mindset will lead to upset' ( as Jamie York said in his December Bootcamp). I just wanted to share some books that I have read, all recommended by people I have met or encountered since starting out. Some are on mindset and some are more general on property and wealth but they have all been brilliant and sooooo helpful in equipping me with the right mindset and approach to building wealth through property, understanding how money works and building a robust and resilient mindset.
