Volume vs Intensity. Stop Overthinking It
Most guys are doing way too much of one and not enough of the other. High volume with no intensity equals junk sets. You’ll feel “worked” but you’re not actually pushing your muscles to grow. High intensity with no volume equals burnout. You smash one all out set and call it a day, then wonder why nothing’s changing. Here’s the simple framework I use with clients: 1.Pick a working weight that challenges you by rep 6 to 8 2.Do 2 working sets. Last rep should be a grind, not a fail 3.Add weight or reps the next session That’s it. That’s the whole game. If you can do 4 sets of 12 with the same weight you used last month, you’re not training. You’re exercising. The guys getting results aren’t doing 25 sets per body part. They’re doing 8 to 12 hard ones and going home. Train with intent. Push the weight. Add reps. Show up again. Drop a 💪🏼 if this clicked.
