Hi my name is Paulo I'm from Portugal and I'm currently 35yo I start playing poker around 23 years ago I study poker all my life , I live and breath it ! I've meet many professional poker players and I know I'm better than them cause they were the ones telling me that but I never had the discipline , money and focus to commit in the levels that I deserve. I've been in some professional poker teams and all of them I made profit on a 50% 50% cut but I just never took it serious and end up leaving the teams and spending money on bullshit ( casinos( slot machines ) , nights with friends ... at this moment I'm currently kinda depressed and jobless for 2 years and I would like to change my life and once for all take poker serious this is why I have joined this group to once for all focus in my poker habilitys.

Hey Paulo, I kind share the same experience as being depressed and not really want to interact with people. Im tell you what I understood that made the difference. DOPAMINE If you understand this it's EASY to shift your whole state and life. I just understood where are my fake dopamine coming from and replaced them with natural sources, GYM, good food reduced time on S.M and for sure PORN Id be happy to help maybe jump on a zoom call or anything if needed bro

hello guy si need help please
hello guys, this is my first post i dont talk really good in english and i will use translation. I need to be real with you guys, I’ve got this pattern and I hate it, every time I build a bankroll in poker I end up losing everything on roulette, not sometimes, every single time, and the worst part is I really thought I had fixed it, I hadn’t touched roulette in 3 months, I felt in control again and I was proud of myself, I worked my way back up to $1500 which is a lot for me, I’m 22, still living with my parents, not really working here so it actually meant something, tonight I finished 7th in a big tournament and I should’ve been happy but instead I tilted, and in less than 3 minutes I lost everything, $1800 gone on online roulette like it was nothing, now it’s 7am, I can’t sleep, I’ve got a full day tomorrow and I feel completely empty, I don’t even know why I keep doing this to myself, I’m just tired of being stuck in this loop.

Breaking The Cycle
What’s up everyone, I’ve been playing poker recreationally on and off since 2003. The cycle I’m breaking is playing with money I can’t afford to lose. Must be patient and build a bankroll specifically for poker only. Anther cycle I’m breaking is going to play in the pits (casino table games) due to financial difficulties in hopes of winning so that I can relieve any financial stress that I’m facing. I never play in the pits for fun or enjoyment, it’s always due to a financial need that I’m trying to meet. More often than not it doesn’t work out and I find myself in even a deeper hole. I must focus on getting my finances in order and building a poker bankroll. And once I do that, there won’t be a need to play casino games in an attempt to get a quick score in order fulfill my financial responsibilities. Thank you for this space/community Joe. Peace and love.

I hear you man, some people when they regulate their nervous system the whole mechanism change towards gambling or just making the right decisions. Also in the upswing or downswings it's how much you can handle money I see myself winning up to 500-600$ and can't really hold this amount in couple of days I spent them all.
