February 10, 2026 Building Hope Through Trials Scripture: Romans 5:3-4 (KJV) “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.” Today’s Reflection In the midst of life’s challenges, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. Yet, the Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans that we can actually “glory” in our tribulations, not because suffering is enjoyable, but because it serves a divine purpose. Tribulation, or hardship, isn’t wasted; it produces patience, teaching us to endure with steadfastness. That patience then forges experience, giving us wisdom and resilience from lessons learned. Ultimately, this chain leads to hope, a confident expectation in God’s faithfulness that sustains us through any storm. Consider a time when a difficulty in your life built your character. Maybe a job loss taught you perseverance, or a health struggle deepened your trust in God. These verses encourage us to shift our perspective: instead of resenting trials, we can embrace them as opportunities for growth, knowing they refine us and draw us closer to the unshakeable hope found in Christ. Today’s Application Today, identify one current challenge and thank God for how it might be shaping you. Practice patience in a small way, like waiting calmly in traffic or responding kindly in a frustrating conversation. Let this build your experience and renew your hope. Today’s Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise in Your Word that our tribulations are not in vain. Help me to glory in them, knowing they produce patience, experience, and hope. Strengthen my faith today, and remind me of Your presence in every trial. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

AMEN. Tribulation can be very hard to endure, but God uses them to produce good.

February 2, 2026 Strength in Weakness Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” Today’s Reflection: In this verse, the Apostle Paul shares a profound paradox of the Christian faith, and true strength emerges from weakness. Paul had just described a “thorn in the flesh” that God allowed to remain, teaching him to rely not on his own abilities but on God’s grace. Instead of resenting his struggles, infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, and distresses, Paul chooses to delight in them when they are endured for Christ’s sake. Why? Because in our moments of greatest vulnerability, God’s power is made perfect. When we admit our limitations, we open the door for divine strength to flow through us. Today, consider your own “thorns”, those persistent challenges that humble you. Rather than fighting them alone, invite God to transform them into opportunities for His glory. Remember, your weakness isn’t a liability; it’s the canvas on which God’s strength paints its masterpiece. Today’s Application: Reflect on a current weakness or trial in your life. How might embracing it “for Christ’s sake” shift your perspective? Share it with a trusted friend or journal about it, asking God to reveal His strength in the midst. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth that when I am weak, You are strong. Help me to take pleasure in my infirmities and distresses, knowing they draw me closer to You. May Your power be perfected in my weakness today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

February 1, 2026 Magnifying the Lord Scripture Reading: Luke 1:46-47 (KJV) “And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.” Today’s Reflection: In these verses, we witness Mary’s profound response to the miracle unfolding in her life, the announcement that she would bear the Messiah. Known as the beginning of the Magnificat, her song bursts forth with praise, declaring that her entire being magnifies God. “Magnify” here means to make great or exalt, much like a lens brings distant objects into clear focus. Mary isn’t making God bigger; she’s allowing her soul to reflect His greatness. Her spirit rejoices not in her circumstances, which were fraught with uncertainty and potential hardship, but in God as her personal Savior. This reminds us that true joy stems from recognizing God’s redemptive work in our lives, regardless of external challenges. Today’s Application: Today, consider what in your life might be overshadowing your praise. Like Mary, shift your focus to magnifying the Lord through gratitude. Start your day by listing three ways God has been your Savior, perhaps through provision, forgiveness, or guidance. Let this spark rejoicing in your spirit, turning ordinary moments into opportunities for worship. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, like Mary, may my soul magnify You and my spirit rejoice in You as my Savior. Help me to see Your greatness in every detail of my life and to praise You amid uncertainties. Fill me with joy that comes from knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
