My #1 Struggle
Many days I eat a lot of the same foods that I love: - Oats - Sweet Potatoes - Tofu - Beans - Greens - Nuts Very simple. But when I go on social media, I see so many people making so many different recipes, and honestly, I began to get overwhelmed. I start to look at my rotation of meals and think to myself: "Am I doing enough?" I'd like to have a different meal everyday for every single meal, but for me, that's not realistic. It can be easy to look at other people's "lives" online and question your own decisions. (social media lives are usually never as they seem by the way) This is just a note for myself and others: What's sustainable for you is the best thing for your health. Your way is also amazing. So keep doing what makes you healthy and happy.

Definitely agree. Social media seems to always show the highlights of life or things to add novelty to life. A lot of people seem to forget that life isn’t always always that flashy, specific, or exciting.

Welcome!
START HERE: Welcome to Longevity Starts Young!🌱
I'm so glad you're here. This is a space for young people who want to feel strong, live long, and build a quality life that doesn't end early because of poor lifestyle choices today. I'm on this journey to a long, vibrant, disease-free life just like you. Some days everything is locked in — the meals , the movement, and I feel like the best version of myself. Other days, I feel the pull of old habits, old environments, in a world that makes it way too easy to slide backward. But I continue to show up. And that's what we do here, together. Here's how to get started: 👉 Step 1: Explore the classroom — you'll find the 30-Day Longevity Reset, meal plan templates, superfood guides, and resources organized by topic 👉 Step 2: Jump into the community — share what brought you here, read what others are going through, comment, connect. 👉 Step 3: Check out the support options here. Introduce yourself below! Tell us: What does longevity mean to you personally? I'll go first: For me, it means breaking a cycle I've watched up close. Diabetes. Strokes. Medications that fill a whole counter just to get through the day. Family members diagnosed way too young with conditions that stole years and quality of life from them. Long term health to me is deeply personal — it means still being strong, sharp, and fully alive at 70. Still doing the things I enjoy today: Traveling the world, playing recreational sports, and truly living. Can't wait to walk this path with you! — Des

Hi, my name is Joseph. For me, longevity means moving our nody every day and feeding ourselves natural and nutritious foods like it needs, all while maintaining our social lives and relationships. It doesn’t have to be all in. I feel that it has to be consistent, simple, and grounded, and I feel that it can be so much easier than people think. I’m excited to be here!
