Sweet or salty
What are your biggest cravings before your period? Lately, I want to eat as much spicy, salt and lime as possible 🌝!

Definitely the salty. Warm salty food and lots of cheese
Let's talk about
Hey girls, I'm doing research about period education. I noticed that we are from all over the world, so I would like to know if when you got your first period someone took the time to explain the whole process of it or just gave you instructions about how the use a pad? I want to know if is something about my country or something cultural. Thanks

Such a good question! I remember my mom told I could use pads or tampons. Figuring out how was for me to discover… Learned absolutely nothing in school, or at least it wasn‘t significant. With girlfriends we would only speak about using pills to surpress cramps. Crazy when I think about it. I only became aware of the working of hormones 2 or 3 years ago. I am 24 now and have lived in the Netherlands all my life. I hope in the future young girls will get better education about their bodies!
Time to celebrate?! ❄️
I feel during these cold months we need to acknowledge our wins more than anything!!! Motivation drops when daylight drops. And this (lack of) sunlight affects our drive, mood, focus... But we can reverse engineer this. We name a win > We create feedback > We build momentum first So I have AN IDEA! 💡 Let’s dig a bit and name some wins ON PURPOSE (even if they might sound small, or not wins at all) What’s one small win from the last few days... Something your body noticed Something you didn’t push Something you said no to Something you finally did Something you let go of Or mayyyyybe some symptoms that got reduced?

@Yulia Kalinchenko awesome! I‘m putting this into practice 😁💗
Merry Christmas!!!!!🎄
If today feels warm and easy, soak it in. If today feels heavy or triggering, you’re not wrong for feeling it. One question for you What’s one thing you want to gift yourself today, or sometime during this season, on purpose? (Doesnt necessarily have to be a material gift)

I will gift myself warmth in two ways: feeling love and a nice cozy & cute wool blanket to put over my bed!! Oops and number 3 for more warmth: sweating!! I want to exercise more and get out of my comfort zone.

Hello everyone! My name is Josefien and I live in a northern province of the Netherlands. I enjoy reading books, going on adventures, learning as I go and trying new hobbies. In the past two years my health has become more of a priority, which for me includes following my heart and finding my life‘s passion while appreciating what is already there. Learning about nutrition, wellbeing, happiness and the way society has shaped us are topics that spark my interest and have driven me to learn more about my menstrual cycle and what it means to be a woman. I was so glad to hear about the community space reopening and I look forward to (re)connecting with the lovely ladies I‘ve met here and with everyone joining this beautiful group. Personally I am looking to dive more deeply into connecting with my intuition, this is a theme I‘ve struggled with and would like to learn more about. Listening to my true self more than the thoughts that try to protect me. I feel proud of myself just for showing up everyday and being present. * just noticed this point was changed to sharing a secret talent, so here it is: not very secret, but I have a talent for home organisation, cleaning, decluttering. Which goes hand in hand with my love for interior design :) Also, I am very excited to be here again! Wonderful. I know we will have such a great time learning from and supporting each other! Kisses from Josefien 🌸
