@Harry Medjelian I completely understand. I wouldn’t want to get into serious problems either. It’s always best to verify current laws and seek qualified legal guidance for specific situations. As a Florida resident I know you can’t carry in schools, government and law enforcement buildings, bars, courthouses, certain airport areas, and several others. Private business owners can also decide not to allow guns on their premises. As far as deadly force, in Florida I believe you may only do so when your life is in danger, you fear great bodily harm, or someone is trying to commit a forcible felony against you. Forcible felonies include kidnapping, rape, home-invasion, robbery. I always suggest people in Florida take the concealed carry course even though Florida is now an open carry state. They teach a lot of good legal stuff in them courses.
