This is the first time trying to do some art using a plasma cutter. It didnt come out how i thoughy, but it was a great experience to get the feel of the material, etc. This is also my first post here on Skool, please show your support 💪🏼

Guys, I'm in the process of building my own CNC plasma (build details on another thread). The more I'm getting involved in this, the more uses I discover for CNC plasma cutting. One of those is that I'd like to make display shelving brackets and posts for my wife's clothing shop. The shelving brackets themselves appear to be straightforward but I'd like to use square or rectangular tubing for the verticals. Something like the attached picture. So my question is how high is it possible to raise the torch from the table bed i.e. what is the maximum size square tube that I'd be able to lay on the table? It appears from Grant's videos that the space between the bed and the torch is rather limited. Is it possible to position my water pan lower in the table frame in order to gain some extra distance? In that case, would I still be within the limits of travel of the ball screw on the z axis?
