Hey everyone I recently got denied from the Fire Academy because I posted a video on my TikTok talking about how I did in the interview. For some clarification I was given permission to post as long as I don't mention the program name, location, school , or leak any interview questions. I followed those instructions exactly as they were told, but I still got denied. I make Tik Tok videos talking about workouts and EMT videos but I was told I wasn't following instructions. The captain on the phone was talking down saying '' There's no such thing as Firefighters making online videos ''. At the moment I feel very disappointed with myself because I got denied even after following instructions. Does anyone have advice with handling rejection in the Fire Service?
