Strategy. I have the moves, I'd like to know when to use them like Rickson, to be in a position and have an idea what Rickson would try to acomplish or how he'd set things up. In my opnion this isnt touched on enough in jiu-jitsu. It's mostly move mechanics. Obviously my five finger exploding death punch isn't at Rickson's level but if I knew how he set up his, I think I'd be alright.
In the session we talked about passing half guard. I recently watched Japan vale tudo 4 with Rickson, when he fights Yoshinori Nishi. He gets caught in a half guard, then a lock down. How does he get out? Dropping bombs to the body!!! Lol.
MTWF jiujitsu and light calisthenics and stretching on off days. I watch a lot of tutorials and MMA fights. I'm focusing on breath before bed. Saturday and Sunday are typically recovery days.
@James Driskill honestly nothing. I try to sleep as much as I can. I follow mike mentzer philosophy, and try to do as little as possible on recovery days. I feel like the older I get the more I can over train. Maybe sit in a hot tub or super hot shower.
