Living In A 3-ft World
“Living in a 3-foot world of busyness and hard work is like plowing the same patch of ground over and over, hoping something will grow. Survival mode keeps you stuck, too busy to notice the reason nothing takes root—you won’t stop digging it up. The trick is to pause, ask yourself why you’re working so hard and what you’re trying to grow. With a little strategy and focus, you can stop surviving and start thriving.”

I don’t have a problem with starting or getting things to grow. My challenge is the long-term aspect—wondering when all my hard work will finally pay off. And honestly, I question whether the toll it’s taking on my body is truly worth it in the end. I suppose I’ll only find out if I see it through to the end.

Is Expert Advice Just B.S. ?
We've all been there. Someone is giving us advice and we want to say, "Hey, ____ off, know-it-all." You read the books from industry experts, attend the seminars, and come away pumped up, ready to conquer the world. And then reality smacks you in the face. It all end's up feeling like hollow So now what now? Check It Out Below: https://www.skool.com/ranch-vision-achievement-5689/classroom/179d401c?md=e117339f97a44d06b1120d1644a23416

@Dan Lorenz Thanks! I love the notes at the end of each section like the cactus being over watered and the wolf that is always on the hunt. I enjoy being a life long learner, but I feel I get off the bridge one too many times. I know what I want, which is a homestead to provide for my family, but it’s hard not to look into Skool, starting a YouTube channel, or other money making business to achieve my goals faster. What’s the best advice you’ve got from a colleague at work and why?

@Dan Lorenz I struggle with the word "entrepreneurial"—I can barely spell it, and the idea of not having a regular paycheck is daunting. However, to achieve the lifestyle I desire, it's almost unavoidable. I've purchased a small piece of land and am saving for tools to work it. My wife can't work due to medical reasons, so it's a solo adventure. I love raising animals and working outdoors. Currently, I work remotely and am considering building an MSP for homesteaders, managing their networks, ensuring WiFi coverage, protecting against malware, and handling backups. While I have the technical skills, I lack sales ability. This might become my plan once I'm more established on my homestead.
