Do any of you guys have Anthony’s first and or second book? If not, it’s well worth owning a copy. It works well along side the videos he posts and you can learn the concept of the brush notation and then see how that’s executed. Great if you are develop knowledge to pass onto students, so you get the full picture.

Comment below sharing where you are in the world, a photo of your favourite snare drum, and something you like to do for fun. 😊 I'll go first - I live in Melbourne Australia, my favourite snare is the Gretsch 2mm Copper 14x5 (with Kentville Kangaroo Head) and I love long-distance running 🏃♂️

Jono Tressler from Christchurch New Zealand. Custom made snare by a guy in Timaru. Picture of my setup for practicing jazz. I’m sick of being rubbish at brush’s so I’ve been leveling up with Anthony’s books and a recent short course of individual lessons with him to get the ball rolling.
