A great teaching example: CashQuest Kids Curriculum Week 47
Welcome, CashQuest Kids families and teachers! 👋 Here is a great teaching example for Curriculum Week 47: “How a Business System Fits Together.” In this nearly 12-minute lesson, “The Numbers, the Work, and the Promise,” we use a fictional repair shop to connect customers, offers, supplies, work and money. Learners explore why sales are not the same as profit—and why keeping promises takes a working system, not just good intentions. Open the Week 47 Journal and choose your learner’s age-band route. Younger learners identify goods and services and explain connections. Older learners trace changing costs, test assumptions and defend a business decision. Pause at each activity, complete the action, then press play. Parents and teachers: the lesson points you to the matching student, family and educator PDF pages for examples, activities and reinforcement. Praise the reasoning and the improvement—not just the answer! Start Week 47 here (CashQuest Kids access required): https://www.skool.com/family-financial-education-hub/classroom/ee5db360?md=c76c6ee8201d44d1a2d6273a7ae8f886 Optional Reputation Capital extension for members with that add-on: https://www.skool.com/family-financial-education-hub/classroom/bc096352?md=85de5ea7501840d3b39a022eb8fc64ad The add-on is not required to complete the core lesson. This is a teaching example, not a promise that every future lesson will use this format. My on-screen presenter and narration are AI-assisted. Use fictional examples; never share private family records. I would love to hear from parents and teachers: which question helped your learner explain their thinking? — Jonathan

Four new free adult guides + a TIPS ladder video
The Flex Life FI classroom now has four new adult education guides on building assets and planning for financial independence: • Choose the Next Asset — compare opportunities, capital needs, and downside cases. • The Cash-Flow Test for FI — look past gross income to dependable owner cash flow. • Own Assets That Can Endure — plan for reserves, concentration, and long-term resilience. • The TIPS Ladder — learn how inflation-protected Treasury bonds can be matched to future spending dates. The lesson also includes a 3-minute TIPS ladder explanation video that plays directly in Skool, plus all four downloadable PDFs. Each guide includes worked examples, charts, exercises, and source notes. The Money Ladder is now included with CQK and TMFEZ
I wanted to add something genuinely useful for our families and adult learners: the expanded 192-page Money Ladder — Scholarships, College Costs & Smart Borrowing is now included at no extra charge with your paid CashQuest Kids or Teach Me Finance EZ program. Inside you’ll find practical explanations, examples, pictures, and activities covering college costs (including room and board), FAFSA, grants and scholarships, student and parent loans, repayment, entrepreneurship, community service, and Reputation Capital. A searchable directory points to 169 named education-funding programs with official sponsor links. These are not 169 guaranteed or currently open awards—eligibility and deadlines vary. Download your included book here: CashQuest Kids — Member Books & Apps Teach Me Finance EZ — Welcome / Member Download Open your program’s lesson, scroll to Resources, and select Money Ladder — Expanded Guide PDF. Open the PDF and use the download arrow to save a copy. Paid-program access is required. Joining this community alone does not unlock this book. If CQK or TMFEZ is already unlocked for you, please do not buy the separate $12.99 PDF again. If you purchased a program but cannot open its lesson, email admin [at] cashquestkids.com from your purchase email address so we can match your access—don’t post order details in the community. I hope this helps you turn your next money or college-funding question into a clear plan. — Jonathan Educational information only. Check current eligibility and deadlines with each official sponsor before applying.
