4 contributions to Power Engineering 101
TSBC to ABSA
I recently completed my 4th Class Power Engineering certification and started working as a Power Engineer at a resort in Chilliwack, BC. I’m also preparing for my 3rd Class Power Engineering certification and planning to move to Alberta as my main goal is to get into petroleum. I’m wondering if I move to Alberta, will I need to take any additional exams to transfer or validate my 4th Class licence, or will my BC licence be accepted as it is? Also, would you recommend completing my 3rd Class certification through ABSA in Alberta, or should I continue through Technical Safety BC (TSBC) and transfer my certification later? Appreciated
Complete it wherever it's most convenient for you to write, will have to pay and write a transfer exam, open book, MTC, on the regulations, more of a cash grab than anything to be worried about.
