Resolution vs scale vs file size for printing
Hi there, having done some research on here I'm still looking for a definitive answer about the file size, pixel resolution or scale the final file I send to Print shrimp for printing. Let's assume I want to print an A0 size poster. My file that I designed in Canva is a PNG file - is this ok or should it be jpeg? Knowing it's a poster design I think Canva defaults to a PNG rather than JPEG - which is better? The current file size is 25.2MB with pixel dimensions of 7016 x 9933. Is this large enough (in any sense) for a clean, crisp quality A0 poster print shrimp? Or do I need to upscale it? It's not very clear which is the most important factor with regards file size/resolution and therefore quality required for a successful large poster print. Id welcome any real clarity around this. Thanks in advance guys.
