@James Power I wish I'd had that happen. Also did languages at university (Scandinavian group) and ended up being a translator. I think if I'd gone into aviation I'd have liked to be a ferry pilot. Like Alan Partridge "I don't like the general public" 😆 but moving aircraft around would've been right up my street (errr, strange metaphor to use about flying!).

Don't say I didn't warn you. Airbus A400M, which I really quite like. My first decent-length trip with any Airbus, after two weeks' faffing around. Unfortunately, I think I forgot to enable the approach properly so it didn't come down to meet the glide slope. After 3 1/2 hours in the air, I decided to just slew back and take it visually and (unsurprisingly) this was the outcome. I left the HUD down just out of curiosity but in the end, it was slightly in the way. That little pip-pip-pip boing from the aircraft at the end... 😆
