Your Story Has Power - Don’t Keep It to Yourself
Let’s get real for a second - this life isn’t just about you. It's about what you leave behind. Every experience, every mistake, every victory you’ve had; someone out there needs that wisdom right now. You’ve been growing, learning, and evolving. But at some point, the mission changes…You shift from a growth mindset to a contribution mindset. That’s when life really starts to expand. The truth is: Your story could be someone else’s survival guide. Your lessons could be the shortcut someone desperately needs. Your voice could be the spark that lights another person’s comeback. Challenge: This week, share one piece of knowledge that’s uniquely yours. Whether it’s a hard-earned life lesson, a skill, or a mindset shift - put it out there. You'll be amazed at how many people needed to hear exactly that. Because when you share your knowledge, you don’t just grow - You multiply impact. CTA: Drop a post today titled “What I’ve Learned That Could Help Someone Else.” Let’s make contribution contagious."

I too was in the military before digital cameras and phones with cameras. Even before Facebook! It's crazy how connected people can stay in the military through social media. I looked for all my fellow veterans to put them in my friends list for Facebook. I too, have several film and negatives that I need to convert to digital.

@Becky Rapp some information is public record. Where he served, rank, and service records. I think you can even get a set of metals for free.
Want to Discover Who You Really Are?
Try This Lately I’ve been answering simple self-reflection prompts — and it surprised me how fast they unlocked memories, emotions, and stories I hadn’t thought about in years. It hit me: 👉 Self-discovery isn’t complicated. It’s just uncomfortable. If you want to try it for yourself, here’s the easiest way to start: Go to ChatGPT and paste this: “Help me explore my life story. Ask me one deep self-discovery question at a time, then help me reflect on my answer.” That’s it. One question. One memory. One breakthrough at a time. Comment “DONE” when you’ve pasted it — and share your first insight. — The Credit Avenger

If you understand yourself and your values, you can put your time, money, and talents toward things that actually align with who you are — instead of what the world pressures you to do.
November Is Where Winners Are Made
“I’ll Start in January.” Is How Dreams Die Let’s keep it real… Every year, people say the same thing:“I’ll start in January.” But that sentence kills more progress than bad credit ever will. January doesn’t magically fix your life.If you won’t start now, you won’t start then. Here’s the truth: ✔ November starters are 3 months ahead by the New Year. ✔ January starters are already behind before they begin. ✔ Momentum beats motivation every time. Stop waiting for the “perfect time.”Start while everyone else is sleeping, eating, or making excuses. Your comeback starts the second you decide it does. ⚡ Challenge What’s ONE thing you’re starting this week, not January?
Happy Veterans Day to My Fellow Veterans
This morning, while checking my email, I saw one from Chuck Norris. He shared a story about his brother who died in Vietnam - and linked to an interview he did back in 1993. Something in that video hit me hard. Chuck was talking about world champions in martial arts and the attitude that separates the great from the rest.He mentioned a fighter with a bad attitude and said something that stuck with me: “He’s a wannabe that will never be.” Those words cut deep - because it’s true. You can have all the talent, all the training, all the opportunity…But if your attitude’s off, you’ll sabotage yourself before life ever has the chance to test you. 💪 Attitude is everything. It shapes how you fight your battles, how you recover from setbacks, and how you inspire others to rise beside you. So today, as we honor those who served - and remember those who didn’t make it home - ask yourself:👉 How’s your attitude today? Are you a wannabe... or are you becoming? ⚔️ Challenge:Drop one word in the comments that describes your attitude today.Let’s see where our warrior minds are at. 🇺🇸 “Respect the fallen by living fully.”
What I’ve Learned That Could Help Someone Else
Serving in the U.S. Army for four years was a big chapter for me. It challenged me in ways I never expected, but it also showed me what I’m capable of when I push myself. Discipline, fitness, teamwork, and resilience are lessons I carry with me every day. My biggest appreciation of the service was being able to live in Europe when I served. How about you?

I served in the Navy for 5 years. First as a medic and then trained as a Surgical tech. I spent the majority of my time in Okinawa, Japan, but deployed frequently on the USS Bellawood. As a plank owner in Fleet Surgical Team 7, we took over 4 Operating rooms on a ship that was filled with so much junk it looked like your garage. We turned it into a fully operational OR with three others ready to be converted in an emergency. I learned a great deal from the various cultures I visited. You can say I didn't know who I really was till I joined the Military. I found myself.
