Looking for K5–12 educators to test a kid-friendly AI “agent builder” 👩‍🏫🤖
Hey everyone I’m looking for a few K5–12 educators (bonus if you’re also a parent) to test a kid-friendly AI agent builder—a simple way for kids to create their own “AI Agents” instead of just chatting with a model. What you’ll do (20–30 mins): - Try the agent builder from an educator view - Optionally test with your own child or a pretend student - Share quick feedback: what worked, what was confusing, what you’d change Privacy & safety: - No real student data needed - Fake names / pretend classes are totally fine - Designed to be kid-safe and school-friendly - All instructions and details will be sent privately via DM If you’re interested send me a direct message and I’ll respond with the the link and steps.

Win With What You Already Have
We don’t always have to chase the next AI tool. Most wins come from using AI to help you stand up the tools you already use every day—often at no extra cost: - Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power Automate - Google Workspace: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Apps Script - Airtable and simple forms/CRMs Reality check: You likely touch Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, email, and slides far more than any AI app. That’s where the leverage is—at work and at home. Use AI as Your Coach (Not Your Replacement) - Documents: Proposals, contracts, SOPs, checklists—standardize once, reuse forever. - Spreadsheets: Clean data, build simple dashboards, and document repeatable steps. - Presentations: Turn outlines into clear decks; you add stories and proof. - CRM & Follow-ups: Consistent replies and timing so every lead gets the same experience. - Automation glue: Power Automate or Apps Script to route forms → sheets/CRM → notifications—simple and durable. Most of this is low or no cost, and AI can guide you through setup step-by-step so you learn while you build. Lesson learned: Taking the “long path” (build the simple system first) makes learning shorter—because AI accelerates your understanding, not just the output.

GitHub & GitHub Copilot - Vibe Coding
If you’ve been coding in environments like Cursor, Visual Studio (VS), Visual Studio Code (VS Code), or others, you know how convenient it is to use AI tools within your IDE. But GitHub took this a big step further at the end of September, and I only just discovered it today. Now, GitHub Copilot lets you give it up to 500 characters to describe exactly what you want it to build for you. What does that mean? You get a powerful environment where you have a lot of control right from the start. You define what it should create. So, I tried it with this prompt (shortened): Build a Vibe Coding App in C# .NET 9.0 using WPF. Why? Because this approach is way faster than other tools that rely on NPM, and there’s no hassle of installing extra dependencies. 😊 Yes, you can. It even added extra features. LOL. I am curious how this turned out so far, if it's crap, usable, kinda ok, or really crappy. Let's see. At least... it looks very good. And the best version control, storage and so on, all done by GitHub for you. P.S.: And in case you know GitHub actions, you can even create a free deployment, installation, etc. whatever you need workflow on top by letting it create a pipeline for you or you can do it yourself.

@Nicole M hey, not so much, I typically won’t use it straight to build out. I would use post the start of the build, so when the project transfers to GitHub , that’s where I use it. I subscribe to GitHub Copilot for 10.00 month. It’s a good tool to have overall as these low code no code solutions are changing their token cost.
