However, these limits are dynamic and fluctuate based on: ​Conversation Length: Sending a "Hi" in a long thread consumes more of your limit than in a new one because the entire history is re-processed. ​Model Choice: Using more powerful models like Claude 3.5 Opus will "burn" through your 5-hour quota significantly faster than using Sonnet. ​Peak Hours: During high-demand periods (typically weekdays 8 AM – 2 PM ET), Anthropic may reduce limits to ensure stability for all users. ​If you hit your limit, you will either be switched to a basic model or asked to wait until your 5-hour window resets. For users who consistently outgrow these limits, Anthropic now offers Max tiers (starting at $100/mo) with much higher capacity. My tip is to use ChatGPT for ideation, questions, and then use Claude AI for execution of the actual work.💡
