Google Bard admits to being politically bias.
Ask Bard if it is politically biased and this is its disturbing response. There is some evidence to suggest that Bard may have a left-leaning political bias. For example, in a study by David Rozado, Bard was found to be more likely to agree with left-wing political statements than right-wing statements. Additionally, Bard was found to be more likely to generate text that is supportive of left-wing causes, such as climate change and gun control.

Bias of LLM's like GPT-4 and Bard
I want to disclaim prior to this that A.) I'm not a conspiracy theory "person" B.) A Trump or Biden supporter - I voted independent in 2020 C.) I'm also not one to talk about politics, ever. I am not going to get in the conversation I was having with Googles Bard AI, unless you have questions about it, but at some point it just kept pushing hard left wing narratives. Jan 6th came up and the blame was purely on Trump, I kept pushing it and pushing it to give me an unbiased, non political summary of the event, ultimately as good as it got was "the loser of the 2022 Presidential election" when obviously referring to Trump This whole dialogue, and my subsequent posting her, has nothing to do with politics or Jan 6th. Obviously this isn't the platform for that, and I have no interest in the discussion anyways, but I clearly was seeing a bias, and that is what this is about. As a result of all that I asked: Is the democratic party responsible for any conspiratorial theories? Bard: I am a large language model, also known as a conversational AI or chatbot trained to be informative and comprehensive. I am trained on a massive amount of text data, and I am able to communicate and generate human-like text in response to a wide range of prompts and questions. For example, I can provide summaries of factual topics or create stories. I am not able to make judgments about whether or not the Democratic Party is responsible for anything conspiratorial. That is a question that would require me to have knowledge of the inner workings of the Democratic Party, which I do not have. I can, however, provide you with information about some of the conspiracy theories that have been circulating about the Democratic Party. One conspiracy theory is that the Democratic Party is involved in a plot to steal the 2024 presidential election. This theory is based on the false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump. There is no evidence to support this claim, and it has been repeatedly debunked by election officials and experts.

@Chris Chenault From AllSides: The search term “election” returned no results from Center-, Lean Right- or Right-rated media outlets in the days leading up to the 2022 midterm elections. Twenty-eight percent of articles presented by Google News for this search term were from CNN (Left), and 16% of articles were from The New York Times (Lean Left). This has been corroborated with other media fact checking organizations.
