After work shooting
Not to bad for an old homemade bow thats been pieced together. Its always good when you get to shoot after work and relax a bit.

WARF Bow
Just got my new WARF Black Bear Recurve put together a month or so ago and been shooting pretty regular. Have to say, im shooting it and enjoying it alot more than my old Pearson that I learned on. Anyone else shooting a WARF bow?

@Grant Richardson for sure. There might be a wood riser in my future at some point. The martin bows are a true gem when done right.

@Grant Richardson right now, I've got 4 Bear risers, a Hoyt and a Proline that im going to WARF build. On top of that, I just one an almost new 62" samick sage and a 3 rivers case on auction last night for $36 lol. Im pretty stick bow poor at the moment lol. Its like and addiction though. My oldest boy just got a sanlida for christmas, my dad is about to finish his high country WARF build and now my 9 year old wants a trad bow. If I can get my wife involved, it will be a true family past time.
Ground hunting
Just getting over my 4th session of chemotherapy and feelinggood enough to hunt this a.m. If nothing else cancer will make you see that every second of every minute is a gift. Had a close encounter but got busted but there are two squirrels in my bag for stew later today.

You are an inspiration sir. Keep up the fight and you are in my prayers. I hope you get a deer!
Hello
Hi. I'm 39 and been shooting a compound and traditional since I was a small child. I recently acquired my late Grandfather's old Ben Pearson 7050 Cougar and started slowly getting it back to shooting condition. I can't wait for my new string to come in so I can get my nocks put on it and start shooting. The current string is ok to shoot now, and I been shooting it a little bit here and there. After this, my next project is going to be a ILF Bow from a donor riser. I plan on trying to use my grandpa's Pearson to take a whitetail in the near future, once I feel comfortable and accurate enough to do so.
