I’ve always been a Cowboys and Reds fan. This year I think the Eagles (yes I say this as a Cowboys fan) are looking sharp and already looking in post season form. The Red Legs though… they came from six games back to make it as a wildcard spot in the playoffs. They’re on fire at the right time, so I’m going with the Reds this season.

@Ryan Egger lol you call that a surprise? That was an “almost win” without the loss 🤣 I’m joking, I didn’t watch football this weekend because I was spending time with my kids.
🎃 Overcoming the Emptiness — Showing Up Anyway
This year was different. For the first time, my little girl didn’t want to go with me to our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. 💔 I could’ve stayed home and let the emptiness win… but instead, I showed up anyway. I went, took pictures, shot videos, and made moments — not because she was there, but because my love for her was. I sent her the photos and videos — not to make her feel bad, but to remind her that she’s always included, always loved, and forever one with me in spirit. 💫 Sometimes as parents, our love has to be unconditional in action, not just in words. Even when they choose differently, even when it hurts, we keep showing up. Because love never stops showing up. ❤️ I’m grateful for her, for the lessons she teaches me, and for the chance to be her dad through every season — even the hard ones. 🍁 Question for all the parents: What are your fall or festival plans with your kids this year? Let’s share some ideas to make new memories — together. #Fatherhood #Faith #Love #Gratitude #ParentingJourney #FallFestivals #PumpkinPatchMemories

We will be attending a local pumpkin patch and painting our pumpkins this year. We also plan on going to a few Halloween events and trick-or-treat nights.

At 11 and 6, my kids have a new favorite food every week. So I’d have to say, that is a great question. I’ll have to get back with you on that question.
What’s the one lesson you want your kids to remember about YOU when they grow up?”
Fathers, let’s get real for a second… We all work hard, we sacrifice, and we stumble sometimes. But at the end of the day, our kids won’t remember every little mistake — they’ll remember the legacy we left them with. 👉 Was it your work ethic? 👉 Your sense of humor? 👉 How you always showed up, no matter what? 👉 Or maybe the way you treated people with respect? Drop your answer in the comments ⬇️ This is a chance not just to reflect — but to inspire every other dad in this room.

If we are not raptured before then, I want my kids to remember that God is eternal love. He loved the world so much that he sent his only son (a part of him) to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. And without that faith in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, they’ll face an eternity in the lake of fire. By teaching them both options for eternity, I still provide them with the understanding that everyone has choices in life that they are going to face that won’t always be easy. Only by keeping their faith they might walk the valley of the shadow of death without fear, but with comfort in knowing that our Lord and savior will always be with them.
