3 contributions to The Moral Reckoning
The Moral Reckoning Community
I’m excited to be part of The Moral Reckoning community. This space creates an important opportunity to thoughtfully discuss the powerful themes presented in the book — moral responsibility, historical accountability, and the lasting impact of transatlantic slavery. What I appreciate most about this community is that it encourages open dialogue. These are complex and sometimes difficult subjects, but they are necessary conversations. Having a dedicated group where readers can share perspectives, ask questions, and reflect together adds real value beyond simply reading the book. The book itself challenges us to think critically about history through the lens of ethical responsibility and legal principles. Being able to engage with others who are exploring these same ideas deepens understanding and broadens perspective. If you’re interested in meaningful discussion, historical analysis, and thoughtful debate, this community is a great place to be. I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here and contributing to the conversation.

About the Book
This book examines the transatlantic system of slavery through the lens of moral responsibility, historical accountability, and comparative legal principle. It is written in solidarity with African Americans and with the millions of people whose lives were shaped by institutionalized systems of violence, dispossession, and exploitation whose consequences persist into the present. See attached the Introduction, table of contents and some pictures from within,
