I served in the military for 5 years and the opportunity to get out has presented itself, others before me I decided it was time for me to do the same. During my last year of service, i stumbled upon wholesaling real estate (with a background in selling cars previously). I decided it was time for me to take this leap of faith since I had a mouthpiece and a basic sales system and process in place (took a sales training that taught me more). Although it worked and closed 4 dein als my first 8 months, I was faced with a frightening reality... I was never shown how to get customers for myself for any business endeavor. I decided to leave wholesaling real estate due to the Many factors/Variables that can happen that make or break a deal. Along with issues with the business model I did not like the 15-60 day close cycle. For me, it was too long to get paid for a 1099 position when you have no control/influence to move the sale.
