One of the most powerful parts of my journey was learning the authority we have through Jesus Christ. When I said “in Jesus Christ’s name,” what was tormenting me had to depart. Not because of me. Because there is power in the name of Jesus. And in my very first deliverance, I remember saying: “The old is gone. The new is here.” That lines up with Scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 And I will be real with you. The last one was the strongest. That story is deep. But God did not leave me there. He delivered me, restored me, gave me clarity, peace, and purpose. That is why I created The Veteran’s Compass. Because I know there are people carrying things quietly. Sometimes it is a spiritual battle.
