I’ve been working on this for about a week now One of my favourite Stevie tunes. I always find sus chords tuff to play over I wonder what people think about the comping and my initial solo ideas?

It's been a while since I posted, and even longer since I've worked on a new song. I've always liked this one. Essentials and Pro are both cool. I chose the Pro. Still a ways to go, but it's a start. It has a challenge that I don't recall from any other CMs that I think I've done before: the melody has a lot of triplets while the bass and harmony are straight 4/4 throughout. Took a bit to wire my brain for this. This is really the first time I've played this Godin nylon string that I bought over a year ago based on recommendations from the Community. I didn't like it at first play and shelved it all this time. Still sort of lukewarm on it but it's growing on me. Perhaps I should plug it in. Feedback appreciated (as always), but note that this is truly first pass after about 4-5 days on it. Been listening to a lot of watercolors on xm and this led to a re-kindled interest in Ronny Jordon, who was one great player. This is his tune, done my way. Having said that, this is exactly one day with it….i spent a few hours at work learning the head and then thought of a loop. It’s a cool tune, hopefully one day i can do it justice…
