There is nothing wrong with having material things. There is even anything wrong with being rich or wealthy. The trouble comes when we value money, cars, clothes, anything material thing over a relationship with God. Salvation, a life dedicated to serving God is more important than material things. Let us be more invested to the relationship with Christ more than any person, place, or thing. Only what we do for Christ has eternal value, so let us dedicate ourselves to good works and to the work of God's Kingdom.

We only have but so much strength and ability as humans. Too often, we try to take on too much in our own strength. That strength is bound to fail. However, the Lord promises us new strength. We have to be patiently wait for God. God's promise is to renew our strength when we wait upon Him. Let us wait for the Lord to renew us. It is a blessing to know that God is with us, even when our strength fails and our own efforts fall short.

No matter how strong we think we are, at some point, our strength is bound to fail. It is human to fall short, to get tired, to experience fatigue. We not only grow tired physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. But when God's Spirit lives in us, He is able to go beyond our human limitations. God is able to do more than we can even ask for or think about. Let us find comfort in that fact that God works beyond our limitations and struggles. We don't have to carry the load of life alone. When we yield to God's Spirit, we will be able to endure any situation and circumstance by faith.

The words we say to ourselves and to others have power. This is why it is important that we always speak life into our circumstances and situations. Even in joking, we need to watch what we say about ourselves and others. Instead of saying, "I'm broke" or "I'm dumb" or "I'm sick,' we should say instead"I'm rich, healed, and live in victory." We need to learn to speak positive, uplifting language into our lives and into the lives of others. Speaking positively doesn't mean that we are being fake about our situations and circumstances. It does mean that we are choosing to speak life instead of defeat. Let us choose to speak life into ourselves.

Worship is more than about a slow song during Sunday service and tears. It is also about how we treat ourselves, our bodies. Doing the right things with our bodies and our minds is an act of worship. When we do the right things regarding our physical and mental health, we show appreciation to God for the gift of our natural bodies. This is not easy, with lots of temptations to consume mentally and physically unhealthy things. Let us be mindful of the gift of our physical bodies. And let us worship God by being dedicated to our physical and mental health.
