Weekly Wins! What went well last week?🤘
What did you get on the board last week?! First push, first carve, first time falling to your knees instead of running out, it ALL counts. If you have a clip, please feel free to share it! Thank you to everyone that has joined the Roll With Control course over the past few weeks! 🤘

I have stopped catapulting the board from underneath me doing alternating tail lifts on concrete.👍 I know you said you can do this on carpet - but I am finding the carpet seeming has no carry over to outside - example I can hold a manual for 10 seconds on carpet - but on concrete - about 1/4 second and more often than not, shoot the board away from me. I can’t yet hold my nose up long enough to roll off a curb …. Unless the curb is on carpet 😁

Really looking forward to tail scrapes and manuals video - games have questions that need answering. Tried stopping on the tail for the first time this morning - I need to learn to commit to it, when rolling I hesitate lifting the nose that high as it involves my weight being over the rear more, then there is the resulting wobble and the board shooting out again If I commit , it’s ungraceful and very heavy on the tail. But the deck stays under me I guess I just need to do it 9999 more times

Hi I’m John and this week I am going to turn 53 - I tried to learn to skateboard last year, but sucked so bad on this tiny little board and my fear of everything, so I quit and bought a longboard to learn how to push and get some confidence - it went well, I can now cruise, carve, pump, stop the rough roads and pavements of Bristol UK What I would love to do though, is get up and down curbs, manual, powerslide, revert and if course Ollie - not too bothered about skateparks, I love streets and driveways

@Theo Bridgeman I split my time between the longboard and Surfskate - but now it’s dark in morning and in the evening I am planning on dropping the longboard sessions to concentrate my efforts on the skateboard in carparks My biggest area of help would be with nose lifts - If I have my weight forward on the board the nose doesn’t want to come up, but if I move the weight towards the rear i end up shooting the board out from underneath me - this is of course on concrete - I am a master of the carpet 🤪
