New Founding deep-dive is up 🚀
Keeping a Character the Same From Shot to shot is the single hardest problem in AI video right now. You know the wall. You generate a great shot of your character, then the reverse angle comes back almost the same person. The jaw's a little off. The hair sits wrong. Your audience can't name what changed, but they feel it, and the scene quietly falls apart. Inside, I walk through the techniques that actually fight character drift today: build a character sheet, lock your seeds, describe the character the same way every time, generate extra coverage and cast for the match, then fix the rest in post. Same instincts a continuity supervisor brings to a real set, pointed at a new kind of unreliability. There's a Weekend Workshop challenge too: build a five-image character sheet, cut a ten-second moment from three shots, and note which technique saved you the most re-rolls. When you're done, tell me where consistency breaks down worst for you — the face, the wardrobe, the lighting, or the hands — and the one fix that's saved you the most. Let's build a shared list, because this is the problem we're all solving for the next year. The tools change. The craft doesn't.

Hey Larry. I'm noticing more and more AI plug ins coming out for Premiere, as well as being able to connect Claude & other AI's to Premiere and also Adobe's own internal AI functions. It would be great if you could do a deep dive on all the edit related AI tools that are currently available and which are most useful for what. There also seem to be more and more options for cloud services and remote editing etc. some of which also have AI tools built in. The amount of options is a bit confusing so it would be very helpful! Thanks!

These are two examples. Wideframe generates an organised Premiere project for you with rough cuts. Palmier is a seperate editing app, but you can export timelines to other NLE's. I'm sure there must be more out there, plus how much can you now do just within Premiere with it's own AI or connecting to Claude etc? https://try.wideframe.com/ https://www.palmier.io/work The most attractive and easiest option for us as a company would be to keep everything within Premiere (for editing) and Resolve (for colour) as that’s what we know and love, rather than having to use third party apps like these. Won’t this inevitably happen anyway, as Adobe & Blackmagic will just integrate these same functions within their software sooner or later?
POLL: Let's Get This Conversation Going!
I’d love to hear from everyone here. As this group continues to grow, I want to make sure we’re building something that is actually useful, practical, and worth your time. So here’s the question: What would you most like to get out of this community? I want your top 3. But Skool only lets you vote once. So please add a comment with your 2nd & 3rd choices. If something's missing, tell me. This community is yours as much as it's mine. I'd rather build what you'll actually use than guess. 😉 Thanks, Larry

This Week Inside the Founding Members Tier
Three deep dives dropped this week that Founding Members got first: 🔧 Building a Local 4K AI Video Pipeline — Full NVIDIA + ComfyUI technical breakdown. No cloud costs, no waiting in queues. Your GPU, your footage, your workflow. 🎭 Real-Time AI Avatars with Runway Characters — How world models meet interactive media. Step-by-step build from zero to working avatar. 🎬 Daniel Kwan's AI Roadmap from SXSW — The "Everything Everywhere All at Once" director spent 3 years going deep on AI. His framework for filmmakers is the most practical thing I've seen from someone actually making films. We're past the halfway mark to 50 Founding Members. Once we hit 50, the price goes up and the door closes at this rate. So join TODAY! $29/month, locked for life → https://www.skool.com/aiography/classroom

Thanks Larry! I just joined as a Founding Member. Some interesting stuff in there already. I run a small boutique post house in London called EditEgg, specialising in edit & colour. I'm most interested in learning about how AI can speed up our workflows and handle all the more mundane tasks (e.g. project organisation, stringouts, selects, rough assemblies, versioning, cleaning up audio, conform, round tripping from Premiere to Resolve and back, VFX clean up, versioning etc.). In other words all the invisible stuff rather than using it to create things from scratch. So we can spend more time being creative and less time on the legwork. Looking forward to collaborating with everyone and learning as much as I can anyway!

@Lawrence Jordan Thanks Larry! Yes we've started to use a few of those things you mentioned. I also came across this the other day: https://conform.tools/conform-connect. It looks like what they're developing could be very useful to us. I imagine there's some sort of AI involved in this?
