Light and Mitochondria
Just came across this interview on Light and the ETC. https://youtu.be/le8QD_Qsk1w?si=i39WFkMBl9XS2YOs I couldnt get my You Tube transcript copier to copy and summarise it. Its a bit long and Physics orientated, and Im just about hanging in there. It seems to be suggesting that a significant proportion of mitochondrial energy is derived directly from Infra Red light exposure during the day. Anthony has talked about sleep requiring energy. The video talks about how IR creates photon pools that are used to power night time activities. I was left womdering if that connects to what Anthony was saying, and if it means that the more daylight exposure we get then the more energy we have for sleep.

Cycling SLU PP 332
I can’t find any definitive answers on (A) whether SLU needs to be cycled, and (B) if so, how long a cycle length should be. Any insights?

30 days on - at least 30 off
Red Light
With Red light therapy, is it better to utilize in the evening before bed, or upon waking? For more systemic effects, not localized healing.

@Jan de Jong just because it’s cloudy doesn’t mean the signal isn’t there - red light near sunrise or near sunset is best timing
Testagen
Hello All! Anyone familiar with Testagen? (Not for me, for my husband) I’m the one who does all the learning/reading and goes from there. Lol He is 49, pretty healthy, no major issues, muscular, other than lots of sports injuries that have caught up with him. We eat healthy, workout, lift, play sports still, his man parts still work great (lol) he’s been taking BPC157, GHK-CU for 5 weeks, 2 weeks of TB500, 5amino & NAD (which I will not be using anymore 🫣) with zero improvement in pain, inflammation, & energy. I’ve have a lot of improvements with them and the ones I take…. , after listening to Anthonys calls and comments …. I am ordering SS31 & TA1 to heal his Mito first……before I continue to throw peptides at him….. then will add KPV. However: He hasn’t done a blood test but have friends his age on TRT and love it. Thinks he needs to do that for energy and drive to workout it’s gotten way worse in the last year. but I came: came across Testagen so did some digging and it aides ur body into producing testosterone. It’s a 4-amino acid peptide bioregulator, thyroid-stimulating hormone. Searched on here an no mentions of it….. so thought I’d post the question :) (We have kids, he has a vasectomy, everything works as it should) Is Testagen something that would help raise it without going thru all the trt clinics? His regular doc won’t even consider testing his testosterone levels or giving it. So besides a trt clinic I don’t have many options in WI for docs willing to even discuss options.

Ok first and foremost- TIME FOR A NEW DOCTOR that is absolutely absurd AND insane and i would have a new dr that day if mine told me that - secondly - he needs to get his labs done before you go down any type of road like this because if they are indeed at the level of HRT then no amount of testagen is gonna help that - its test cream or injection only (no other form) OR you can try radical lifestyle changes and OTC supplements that strictly need to be adhered to that most likely won’t work a As for testagen - yes i ran 30 days testagen COMBINED with Testoluten for 30 days with Before and After bloodwork and will give u the numbers : 682-697 total (15 points) 55-67 free (12 points) In my opinion not even close to worth it Get an independent lab panel done from goodlabs or private md labs or marek health and for the love of god get a new dr for your husband - and be very cautious of clinics especially if they start pushing Sermorelin and Enclo like wtf are we doing here
Pet hormone optimization
I just finished listening to a podcast where the host talked about giving his aging dogs testosterone and all the benefits they’ve received. I e heard other people talk about this as well. I’ve considered the same for my dog, but based on the amount I’d need to give him, I can’t just skim a bit from my husbands testosterone prescription- I’ll need much more than that….which leads me to the question- where does one get extra testosterone? I’m not necessarily alluding to anything illegal (so please forgive me if this isn’t allowed), just looking for options and sourcing I’m not currently aware of…
