John on Vacation
Hi friends, Going to be heading off for a couple weeks (calendar has dates). I've added some extra sessions here and there to make up the ones that I will be missing. A number of you have just joined recently and I'd love to get you experiencing a challenge/recorded class. So I will still be reaching out wirh a message here and there. The benefits you joined for are for real.

Live Class Tonight - 5PM EST
Hi everyone, How was your weekend? Hope it went well. We have been busy with clients and packing, as we are heading off for vacation this Thursday for 13 days. I'd love to hear about your weekend below if you want to share. Tonight we have one of our two live 45 minute classes. It's a great opportunity to jump in live and get moving with me! If you're not yet, just upgrade to the premium level and we'll be spending a lot of time together working on your balance, mobility and parasympathetic activation. John

@Vicky Salisbury so nice to meet you! Fortunate that you have done some basic Qigong and Tai Chi - it will probably make what we do easier to grasp. Jump into the challenges and sample class and let me know how it goes!

@Diane Macmillan this will 100% massively help your recovery and boost your overall mobility. Try a free challenge or class and let's talk after. Welcome!
Why Tai Chi and Qi Gong specifically?
Most people assume balance comes down to leg strength. Leg strength matters — and these exercises will build it — but it's only part of the picture. Balance actually depends on how well your brain, breathing, posture, inner ear, and muscles all coordinate together in real time. That's exactly what Tai Chi and Qi Gong train. The slow, controlled movements force your nervous system to practice the same coordination it needs for everyday moments — stepping off a curb, turning around in the kitchen, catching yourself if you stumble. It's not random, generically framed as "gentle exercise" — the movements are special because of what they ask of your balance and coordination systems. As a Kinesiologist, that's the lens I bring to teaching. Every movement has a purpose, every breathing pattern has a reason, and every exercise is chosen because of how it helps you move through daily life — not just because it's part of a traditional form.

@Vicky Salisbury right, this becomes everything at a certain point. We want to be able to do things!

Hi Reggie, sorry to hear that, but you absolutely have the right attitude. It may be able to be improved. Let's get started and see what we find. Try the challenges and sample class on your own rhythm and let me know how it goes.
