biig dub congrats man @Zachary Collins
getting people to confirm their sales call in GHL
yoo, read @Dalle M's show rate thread from last week and it's been on my mind, because his reminders are already better than most and people still aren't turning up. My guess is every one of those texts talks at the lead and none of them asks for anything back. So I'd make the booking something they have to reply to. You can do it in GHL with what's already there: 1. In calendar settings, turn off auto-confirm. New bookings then land as unconfirmed. 2. Right after they book, send one text: "Hi {{contact.first_name}}, it's John. You're booked for [day, time] to go over [what they told you on the triage call]. Reply YES and I'll lock it in." 3. Set up a workflow on the Customer Replied trigger. If the reply has "yes" in it, update the appointment status to confirmed. 4. Anyone still unconfirmed the evening before gets a call from a real person. That's the call Thure and Ismail were talking about. 5. Keep booked, confirmed and showed as three separate numbers. If confirmed is low, the booking is the problem. If they confirm and still no-show, it's more likely the reminders or the lead. I'd get step 2 right before touching anything else. My bet is someone who's just read their own problem back turns up more often than someone who only got a time slot. Has anyone run reply-to-confirm and lost bookings from it? Wondering if it scares off the maybes
