Homework Day 1
Day 1 – Struggles & Wins 5 Struggles 1. Being Present One of my biggest struggles is balancing ambition and presence. I'm constantly building businesses, chasing goals, and trying to create a better future for my family. But there are times when I wonder if I'm spending enough time enjoying the people I am doing it all for. 2. The Pressure Never Stops Most people see the success. They don't see the pressure. Every Friday there are employees expecting paychecks. Clients expecting results. Realtors expecting us to deliver. My family expecting me to provide. I carry that responsibility every day. Some days it's motivating. Other days it's heavy. 3. Fear of Going Backwards I've worked too hard to get where I am. I remember what it felt like to struggle financially. I remember wondering how bills would get paid. That fear never completely leaves you. It's one of the reasons I still push as hard as I do. 4. I Have a Hard Time Slowing Down Whether it's business, fitness, investing, or personal growth, I tend to go all in. That mindset has helped me build a lot, but it has also cost me. Sometimes I forget that recovery is just as important as effort. 5. Putting Too Much Pressure on Myself I want to be a great father.A great leader.A great businessman.A great investor.A great athlete. The problem is that sometimes I expect perfection from myself, and perfection is an impossible standard. 5 Wins 1. I Built Something From Nothing There was a time when I had more dreams than resources. Today I've built businesses that support my family, create jobs for others, and give me opportunities I never thought were possible. I'm proud of that. 2. My Kids Get to See What's Possible I don't just tell my kids to chase their dreams. They get to watch me chase mine. They see me take risks, solve problems, overcome setbacks, and continue moving forward. Hopefully that teaches them that anything is possible if they're willing to work for it. 3. I Stayed Sober Giving up alcohol was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
We're back. Here's what you need to know.
Some of you already know this, but I want to make it official for everyone. About a month ago I made the decision to pivot toward AI and moved everything into one community. It was a fast call and I own that. (Essentially, I did what this latest Alex Hormozi YouTube video told me NOT to do in the first two min of watching. I jumped ship too quick, and I own it) The demand for IG4R never stopped. People kept asking about content, growth, monetization, all the stuff we built this community around. On top of that, my big account got banned by Instagram at 528k. So I'm starting from scratch and running my own system again. 0 --> 29K followers in the last few weeks, and I'm not slowing down. Everything I teach in here, I'm doing right now in real time. You guys get to grow with me. So here we are. IG 4 R*tards is fully back and running as its own community. This is the home for everything social media. Growing your Instagram, building your brand, landing deals, making content that actually gets seen. Same energy, same mission, same team helping you. ( @David Whitton @Kaylee Sulz @Arizona Akin @Bianca Mahadevan @Parker Fleming ) If you're also interested in the AI side of things, we have a separate community for that called AI 4 R*tards. That's the think tank for business AI, strategy, and building smarter systems. Totally separate from what we do here, but you're welcome to join both. If you know someone who was part of IG4R before and hasn't made it back in yet, send them my way. They can DM me or @Nick Whaley on Skool and we'll get them added. Glad to have this room back. Let's get to work. Daniel
