When people ask how I got started in the pet industry, the answer always surprises them. I didn’t begin with a big facility, staff, or investment. I started at 14 years old, looking after small pets from home - rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs. Clients would bring their pets’ enclosures or I’d supply a hutch myself. That little side hobby became my first business and sparked a passion that’s now been my full-time career for 19 years. Here’s the truth: You don’t need all the time, money, or experience to start. Hey everyone I’m Charlie , I have a gorgeous staffy cross called Sandy and a jackapoo called rod after rod Stewart as my late dad was a lookalike and I grew up with rod Stewart going to all concerts and collecting every single album literally everything was rod stewart lol he’s been on tv rod at 8 months old and every where he goes he gets attention lol my dogs saved my life as when my dad died at age 60 I went into a deep depression and it hit me so bad as I was only 27 , every girl needs there dad especially when your at that age . It took me until now to be able to get to a point of acceptance and I need to live my life now , I started looking into butternut box and made it my mission to never pay for dog food as they had a sharing scheme to do so . It kept my mind motivated and I wanted to make sure my babies had the best food as my staffy kept being sick not eating and generally bad stomach. I referred 300 ppl in 4 months I was recognised and told to go into being a influencer, I was told no at first as I didn’t own a pet business, but I persisted told them about my history of being a top sales person in cosmetics and for them to just take a chance . They did I became a ambassador and I’m now the top ambassador of the company ☺️ I help pet parents with getting the best food and treats for their fur babies and have referred over 400 ppl in 5 months of being a ambassador.
