After years of trying to find the best system for teaching people how to MASTER jazz comping… I spent the whole last week putting different pieces together and recording a video with the title of “Jazz Comping Mastery”. I am a bass player from Belgrade, a self-taught musician trying to figure out basic stuff about jazz. For a while I used to play guitar too, but I decided to switch back to basss eventually. I like classic jazz, stuff such as Montgomery, Burell and Green, but also the artists like Scofield and Metheney.
