Does MediaBlaster and WP Smart TV Plugin create a list?
I was talking to a friend another SDK Channel developer about the old and new WP Smart TV Plugin and The new Media Blaster laurnch kit. A question came up. We were talking about subscribers to the Roku channel. I didn't have an answer and don't remember seeing any answers to the question! Question if I create a channel for myself or a Client using Robs Media Laurnch kit and plugin which is connected by use of an API and Roku pulls from the API, does information get passed back to the plugin like who subscribed? Question - Do we get a list of subscriber emails or any other information from Roku? Food for thought: A list would be awesome so we can send out promos or ads or send invites etc..... Might make a nice future update if we dont have that!
Vimeo Talk and ?
Lets talk vimeo. I am no stranger to being part of the vimeo tribe and them having there own ott service back in the days of ROKU Direct publisher. I mean every video sevice out there even wistia was trying to get a piece of the pie, even amazon S3 stepped into the picture and we all tried that! But vimeo took a spot light in the Roku Developer forums with rising concerns of Bandwidth issues and charges. This started a little tug of war between Roku and Vimeo and Vimeo decided to back away from ott and to cator to mobile and website video, They stopped supporting ott. This caused a panic and sent developer scambling for new video hosting or work arounds to keep using vimeo. Today if you visit the Roku Developer Forums there is still some small talk about vimeo! I like this Plugin and Laurnch kit and want to move forward testing with it. I have not got to the point to try adding any video outside of vimeo and think it should have this feature to add other platforms. If not it should be added! I think it would add value to the plugin which BTW I don't think it should be free! But here is a small list from the course on adding video: MediaBlaster works seamlessly with Vimeo (preferred), AWS, BunnyCDN, and DaCast, it does not support YouTube videos. This is a restriction on YouTube's side regarding how they allow their media to be served, and there is no workaround! Yep I remember Roku going after many direct publishers for using and reusing youtube video to create channels with the same content under different names. This caused legal issues so stay away from youtube! I guess We will have to see if bandwidth issues arise from vimeo in our future! Whats your thoughts on vimeo?

Thanks for elaborating on this Rob. I know of many software platform using Bonny especially if they are EU Based or outside the USA! Whats the thoughts on Amazon S3 Buckets for HLS Video?
MediaBlaster Roku Launch Kit License ?
So if you are like me you took the plugins and added to a wordpress site to test it! However if your site is called test chanel for example but you uploaded the plugin to Johnnys service - the license and channel name on the license pull that information on the license and there is no wany to edit that information except to revoke the license and start a new wordpress under the channel name! But I believe if we build the channel on that first site we can name the channel and build the channel out and the behind the scene channel license doesnt matter! I am sure Robert will elaborate on this?

@Muhtasim Jadoon do you mean like using ai - talking to ai to build a channel? While there are some ai programs out there that will build a ott channel sdk , most are not up to the changes of new Roku, Amazon or Apple tv. I think Rob solution to use a template or kit that is developed to use the api with Roku to be fed by the wordpress site is viable and usefull. I meran as a Roku developer myself I have created muy own sdk packages and coding. I have tested many software products and all I can say is there is a deep learning curve especially in todays fast paced changes to the roku platform changes and code and testing!
Welcome to AI Content Creators 👋
We’re just getting this community started, so first off... thank you for being here early. The goal of this Skool is simple: To help creators, agency owners, entrepreneurs, and builders use AI to create better content, move faster, and monetize their ideas, without making generic AI slop. We’ll be covering things like: - AI-assisted podcasts - Short-form video - AI music and Suno - Writing and scripting - Web design and vibe coding - Automation - Content strategy - Monetization But here’s the important part: We don’t want to build this community in a vacuum. The courses, calls, posts, and resources we create will be shaped by what you actually want to learn. So while we’re getting started, your comments and questions are extremely helpful. To kick things off, drop a comment below and tell us: 1. Are you a creator, business owner, agency, or just exploring AI? 2. Are you already using AI to create content? 3. What would you most like to learn or build with AI? 4. Even a quick one-line answer helps us understand who’s here and what to focus on first. Excited to build this with you. And remember: Create better with AI. Don’t make slop.

AI is getting better and better, I been playing around in claud ai and some others and the output is really good but I did notice just because they create an sdk file or code doesnt mean its all updated or up to date with changes on the platform like Roku for example. It finds and produces on whats available but I don't think its 100% there yet! I suggest to anyone relying on the AI to test and testing takes valuable time from us but it will get there! So explore have fun and learn,
