🚛 Junk Removal & Box Truck Hustle vs 🎱 Pool Table Hybrid Business
Let’s talk real business structure. Most people who want a “side hustle” default to: - Buy or rent a box truck - Start junk removal - Compete on speed and price Nothing wrong with it. But here’s the real question: Is that a hustle… or a scalable business? Think about this: With junk removal: - You get paid per load. - When the truck stops, income stops. - You’re competing with anyone with a truck. - Dump fees, fuel, wear & tear eat margins. - Scaling means more trucks, more payroll, more insurance. It’s labor-based revenue. Now compare that to a pool table model. With pool tables: - Refelt = $400–$1,000 - Move = $350–$800 - Cushion job = $900+ - Assembly = $300–$500 But here’s the real difference: You can add: - Accessories - Online store - Affiliate sales - Digital guides - Training layer So you’re not just getting paid to lift. You’re getting paid to solve a specialized problem. Let me ask you: If you did a $550 refelt today…and sold $300–$1,000 in accessories online later… Is that still just a “service job”? Or is that an ecosystem? Another question: Which business is easier to replace? The guy hauling couches… Or the technician who understands: - Leveling - Cushion rebound - Cloth tension - Rail alignment Skill creates authority. Authority creates pricing power. Now think long term. If you had to choose: Which one builds equity?

I rather build a skill I can scale rather than push a rock uphill.
Pool Table move made simple💪🏾💯
This may intimidate some people but pool table work is actually very simple. Once you get a system down for working with the table. And a system to keep income steady. You can enjoy so much more free time. Even if you want to keep your day job. Some slates are heavier. May need help but ultimately its all the same.

That piece you carried, about how heavy you’d say it is?
My first refelt DONE!😎
I won’t lie, at first I was real nervous. The guy went upstairs and I was able to get busy. I had to watch the videos on my phone a few times to check my work or to find the next step. I was moving so fast I forgot to get the finished product but it only took about 2 hrs. With the cloth sell and labor I banked $480 profit plus he tipped me for coming out in the snow. So yeah, what do you think? I feel like I can keep doing this.
My first refelt DONE!😎
🚨 Real World Pool Table Business Scenario – What Would You Do?
Let me break down a situation that just came across my phone. A contractor calls me. He was remodeling a house. He moved the homeowner’s pool table. He broke all four legs. Now the homeowner refuses to pay him for the remodel job. The contractor says: “If you restore the table for $700, the homeowner will pay you, and then I’ll get the rest of my money.” So I call the homeowner directly. The homeowner says: “The table is beyond repair.” “But I’ll pay you $200 to remove it from my house.” Now we have a triangle: - Contractor wants me to fix it so he gets paid. - Homeowner thinks it’s trash. - I know once restored, it could sell for $1,500–$2,000. This is where business maturity matters. 🎯 The Real Question Isn’t “Can I Fix It?” The real question is: Where is the leverage? Option 1: Restore it for $700. Risk: You’re in the middle of a dispute. If they argue again, you could get stuck unpaid. Option 2: Take the $200 removal fee. Own the table. Restore it on your terms. Sell for $1,500–$2,000.

Even though it may be extra work, $1500-$2000 is better than what you would get to repair. Think about it, you can take the $200 to remove it and use that to buy the supplies to fix it. It’s all profit!!!

@Lytron Tolson I hear ya. But I would take the big payout and be Ok with that.

HEY!!! I’m fired up you’re here. My name is Emmanuel Moore, and I own a profitable pool table service business. I specialize in refelting, moving, repairs, installs, and building income streams around the pool table industry — both locally and online. I didn’t start full-time. I started small. Learning. Testing. Taking jobs. Figuring it out one table at a time. The moment I realized I could refelt a table in a few hours and generate serious profit from one job… I knew this industry was different. This isn’t theory. It’s skill-based income. A few consistent jobs later, I saw the bigger picture: This isn’t just about working ON pool tables… It’s about building a system around them. Now I focus on building the business — training techs, creating online income streams, customizing tables, and helping others launch their own service in their city. And that’s why this Skool exists. I want to help you start and grow your own profitable pool table service — whether you want a side hustle, full-time freedom, or a scalable operation.
