Starting a business is hard enough, but starting one alone is even harder. The Female Entrepreneur Club has been such a nice, supportive community to join where we can discuss the challenges we're facing, learn from each other and celebrate our wins! It's like having a group of business buddies you can reach out to when you have a question or simply need a bit of advice or fancy a coffee break. It's so nice to be a part of a group where women support other women succeed.
🎯 Accountability Challenge: "Don't Do It Alone" (August 24–30)
We talk a lot about pushing yourself, but this week's about the opposite muscle: asking for help. Most business owners try to figure everything out solo — even when there's a whole room of people right here who could save you hours, or just tell you "yeah, that's normal, keep going." This week's challenge: ask for one thing you've been figuring out alone. A question you've been sitting on. Feedback you've been avoiding. A "does anyone else struggle with X?" post. Comment below with what you're going to ask for — then come back at the end of the week and let us know how you got on. 🤍

I'm not too sure mine is relevant but something that's been frustrating me a lot lately is figuring out how to get my clients to leave a Google review. As a professional organiser, my service can be something my clients are sometimes embarrassed to admit they use and Google reviews require them to leave their real name. Despite building really strong relationships with my clients, most of them ignore my message to leave a review, and as most of my new customers find my through Google, this is super important to build. I've considered incentivising clients to leave a review but then it just feels like a bribe. Does anyone else have this problem or any tips?
Using an agency for Google Ads?
Happy Friday ladies!!! I have been delving into the world of setting up Google search ads for my business lately and wondered whether anyone has some advise when it comes to using an agency. I have had some quotes for Google ad management but at this early stage of my business they are way out of my budget but as a marketer I know it could be a worthwhile investment. Do you think it's worth it? How much should an agency be charging to run your ads? Is it really worth the ROI? Any agencies to recommend here in the UK?
If you could start your business over from day one, what would you do differently?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately… When we start a business, we’re told to focus on sales, marketing, branding, social media, and growth. Very few people tell us to build the business itself. Looking back, I wonder how many challenges entrepreneurs face aren’t caused by a lack of effort, but by building in the wrong order. So here’s my question for fellow business owners: If you could start your business over from day one, what would you do differently? - Would you niche down sooner? - Create better systems earlier? - Spend less time trying to do everything yourself? - Invest in mentors? - Focus on profitability instead of revenue? - Build a stronger foundation before trying to scale? For me, the biggest lesson has been that success isn’t just about working harder, it’s about building intentionally from the beginning. I’m interested to hear from entrepreneurs at every stage. What would you change if you had the chance to start over?

I would spend less time trying to get everything perfect and just launch. Something is better than nothing but as a Brand & Marketing professional, I often get caught-up in trying to get every detail perfect.
