Hey Beautiful Souls — I’m Joby Boughey Founder of Pure Breathwork, Pure Academy, and the PURE Community My journey began through deep pain — near-death experiences, emotional trauma, and years of seeking truth. Then one night, everything changed. Through Breathwork, I experienced a complete you? shift in consciousness — a moment that dissolved years of tension and revealed a profound truth: The power to heal is within. After years of guiding thousands through Breathwork, I was introduced to Human Garage and their revolutionary Fascial Maneuver Method — and it felt like discovering the missing piece of the puzzle. There was a time when I thought nothing could match the power of Breathwork. My very first session changed everything — I felt ten years (or more) of trauma leave my body that night. It was phenomenal. Honestly, it was the best experience of my life.
(I’ve written about this in my book Pure Breathwork On Amazon now— shameless plug, I know… but hey-ho! 😄) Then, a couple of years ago, something new caught my attention.
I kept seeing this page pop up on Instagram — people’s backs, necks, and shoulders transforming right before my eyes. I remember thinking, “What is this? I need this in my life right now!” Instantly, I could feel the intensity of this work. I’m the kind of person who goes all in — if I believe in it, I live it, learn it, and teach it with everything I’ve got. My heart truly sings when I see people transform. (And yes — I cry in a lot of my sessions!) After several near-death experiences and major accidents, my body was holding deep layers of waste and weight. I realised that most of our body’s heaviness is emotional — energy that hasn’t been released. Those trapped emotions become inflammation, pain, illness — the body’s way of saying, “Please listen.” What if instead of saying, “I’m broken,” we say, “I’m safe, I’m ready, I’m letting go”? Acknowledge the emotion:
“I see you, thank you for protecting me, for teaching me what I needed to learn. I’m releasing you now — with love.”
