Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. I did it. Whew! Now it’s blocking, and once dry, I’ll add the ribbons and buttons. Love it!

Tonight I had the great pleasure of seeing a few Rujuus in real life at a knit night in London, UK! What a wonderful feeling, thank you for coming and bringing this WIP to this fantastic social get-together ❤️

Still have the crochet stitching to do to secure the steek, and then the steek, but the end is in sight. I just want to thank @Zanete Hussain for the awesome spreadsheet approach to calculating where to put the button holes. I have never done a cardi where I was 100% happy with my buttonhole placement. Until now! Thank you!!
