A different kind of movement space
Hello lovely people, This week's recordings are now up and ready whenever you have the time. Week 9 Vinyasa marks the second last week of this particular sequence. By now you'll probably notice that things don't feel quite so unfamiliar. The shapes, the transitions and the rhythm begin to settle, leaving a little more space to simply move and breathe. Our Mat Pilates session is a little bit of a balance class this week. Not because balance is about standing on one leg, but because balance asks us to pay attention. It reminds us that strength isn't just about effort—it's about awareness, timing and making small adjustments. If you've been thinking, I really need to move more, I'd encourage you to stop thinking about the biggesr picture and start looking for just one session at a time. Movement doesn't have to compete with your busy life. It can fit around it. Some weeks you'll do every class. Other weeks you'll squeeze one in between work, family and everything else. Both count. The people who feel the long-term benefits aren't usually the ones who train the hardest—they're the ones who simply keep coming back. The recordings are there whenever you need them. Early morning, after dinner, on a rainy Sunday, or in that unexpected gap that appears in your day. Your body doesn't mind when you move. It just appreciates that you do. Fair warning: your abs and hips may have words afterwards. A strong, steady session to help build support through the body and get things moving again. Week 7 Vinyasa is also now up. This week is about steady consolidation — building capacity now that we’ve got all the bits. Less about learning new things and more about bringing it together, finding flow, and letting the practice start to feel more familiar in your body. Whether you want to repeat the class, move at your own pace, or simply get all your bits moving again, the recordings are there for you. Hi there, I wanted to reach out to you directly before I open this up more widely because if anyone is going to get something out of this, it's you. This June I'm running a Hip Mobility Workshop Series, live every Wednesday at 5:45pm 5 sessions, one focused topic, and a real chance to work on something that affects almost everything else your body does. Hips are at the centre of how we move, getting up, sitting down, walking, lifting, staying out of lower back pain. When they're restricted, everything compensates. When they're strong and mobile, everything feels easier. Each Wednesday we'll cover a different piece of the puzzle from opening tight hip flexors, to building strength through full range of motion, to practical movements you can carry into your everyday life. Mat Pilates this week focused on the torso - layering abdominal work with hip and shoulder movement to help build connection, strength and mobility through the whole body. A great session if you’ve been feeling stiff, disconnected or simply want to move a little better. We’ve also uploaded Term 2/2026 Week 4 Vinyasa - perfect if you’d like to repeat the class, revisit a few things, or if you’re simply after a really solid whole-body session to get all your bits moving again.
