[ME: Week #1|Prompt #1] Share the first three things on your inventory list.
Welcome to Week #1 of our first [ME] micro-experiment: Meet Yourself on Paper. We're starting the four inventories! Sometimes getting started is the hardest part, so let's keep this simple. Your Big Book of You, v2 should be approached like a grocery list: Bullet points, fast phrases, quick thoughts. The Quick Three: Scan your house, or your phone: What are 3 things you can inventory about yourself? Paste them below to get 'first posts' out of the way. Remember the inventories cover: Skills Interests Experiences and Lessons Dreams and Environment. And, we're simply getting in the habit of noticing ourselves and getting reacquainted with who we are. No need to analyze anything. I've put mine below. Now, your turn.

Add one more cook to the list! 1) Cooking and creating gatherings around food 2) Art supplies (I do a lot of arts & crafts with the kids in our youth club) 3) Plants, gardening and the beautification of spaces - creating a peaceful & calm physical environment,
[ME WK 2, PROMPT 1] Without looking at your inventories what's one thing...?
PROMPT: Without looking at your inventories what's one thing you keep thinking about? Last week, in our Meet Yourself on Paper Micro-Experiment, we started on a first pass of the four inventories inside The Big Book of You, v2. We're going to keep diving deeper into them this week. In fact, the assigment this week is to make another pass at the inventories. I know more will come up. BUT... before you do that, what's one thing you keep thinking about from your first pass at the inventories? Is there a memory that has come up? Have you remembered something you loved doing, but haven't done in a long time? Is there just a thought (dare I say dream or wish) you keep thinking about? Drop it in the comments below. I want us to get used to listening to ourselves and paying attention to what we're paying attention to.

I keep thinking about how to be sure my next move is the right one. I am beyond a vision board but not yet ready for an action board. How do I move from Point A to Point B when it feels like to get there from here is an obstacle course where I have to step on large plastic bottles bobbling around in the ocean and my footing is unstable and unsure where to step next so I don’t end up under water!
What's ONE thing you'd like to try in 2026?
In the spirit of our quick-start Reset exercise inside The (Re)Ignition Lab... 🎨What's ONE thing you've been curious about that you'd like to try in 2026? It can be something completely out there or totally simple, but it's somehow caught your curiosity? Drop it in the comments below.

I would like to try and get one of my friends or new acquaintances to commit to intentional travel with the purpose of finding our forever community.

@Colleen Kochannek Interesting. I do watch these videos myself, and Greece is on my list but I never thought to turn it into a job! For some reason all I’ve ever done is public service but you can say this is its own kind of public service

@Vonda Laffey This made me smile because as the oldest one in my Peace Corps cohort, if I ever mentioned Erma Bombeck I’m sure they would all say “who’s that?” 🤣

I took my children’s book (“Cheerful the Angry Chicken” in English) to read to the kids while working as a translator for a medical mission in Santa Fe, Panama 🇵🇦
Poll: Help me build our Possibilities Lab
I am fleshing out The Possibilities Lab - our library of 3rd Act inspiration. I want to make sure I’m finding the stories you actually want to hear. I’m looking for real women making real transitions. Not celebrities, but people like us who have reinvented their work, their hobbies, or their entire lifestyle. I already have a substantial list to invite, but want your input. 1️⃣Vote below on which category you are MOST curious about RIGHT NOW 2️⃣Then, drop a comment if you have a specific niche /topic (e.g., "someone who started a bakery") or even a specific person I should stalk (in a friendly way) on social media. I'm not shy.😉

I am not sure what category this would go under, but I’m interested in some kind of retreat for third chapter mapping. I’m curious what the 51% of seniors are doing who are single and carving out a path that may be different from their original trajectory. The topics of interest at such a retreat would be gaining clarity on who we are, what we want the third chapter to look like, and how we can build a more fulfilling 3rd chapter with purpose, meaning, joy and community. I am also interested in female or mixed intentional communities that are independent and do not operate like Communes but perhaps are made up of smaller homes somewhere with temperate weather - where there is some element of service and community support mixed with independence.
